The Indianapolis Colts are now nine games into their 2024 season and sit at 4-5 on the year, following a second consecutive loss, this time to Minnesota.
Now that we are over the halfway point on the schedule, the stats and metrics that we look at on a weekly basis carry a lot of weight. We are well past the small sample size portion of the schedule, and largely speaking, while there is still time for the Colts to improve–or regress–in certain areas, at this time, the stats tell us who this Indianapolis team is.
While there are countless stats and metrics out there for measuring performance, in an effort to be concise while still highlighting pertinent information, I boiled down my stat selection to the basics of football: run game performance, passing game performance, pressures, turnovers, third down and red zone success, and of course, points.
