Barkley was born in The Bronx, New York, on February 9th, 1997. His family moved to Pennsylvania in 2001. Barkley attended Whitehall High School in Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. He was rated as a four-star prospect.
Where did Saquon Barkley play in college?
Barkley played three seasons for the Penn State Nittany Lions before leaving for the NFL. He delivered three thousand-yard rushing seasons, and in his sophomore year rushed for 1,496 and 18 rushing touchdowns, also catching four touchdowns. In his final game for Penn State, he led the Nittany Lions to a Fiesta Bowl victory over Washington.
