Britney Spears sent the world into meltdown in the early hours of this morning as she announced she is pregnant with her third child.
The songstress had previously shared her hopes of having more children while under a strict conservatorship - which was terminated in November last year - but claimed she had been forced to take birth control - and was denied the third child she longed for.
Overjoyed with the unexpected news, Britney posted the announcement on Instagram.
It is the first child she is expecting with her fiancé Sam Asghari.
Britney is already a proud mum to sons Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15, who she shares with her ex Kevin Federline.
The singer doesn't tend to share many snaps of her sons on social media, previously explaining that they're at the age where they "want to express their own identities".
In a rare Instagram post about her children in March, the proud mum shared: "I'm extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentleman and so kind that I must have done something right."
Britney became a mum at the age of 24, when she welcomed Sean into the world in September 2005.
She gave birth to Jayden a year later in September 2006.
It's thought Britney's kids spend most of their time with their dad Kevin - who was granted 30% unsupervised visitation rights in September 2019.
A source told US Weekly last year that Britney is seeing her sons "less and less" now that they are teenagers. Some of that was also due to her being in a conservatorship at the time, meaning she would have a "set schedule" of when she could see them.
"They are teenagers now and want to be with their friends, not their parents. It’s nothing against Britney," the insider said.
"They love and idolise her, and Kevin trusts her. It’s just that they’re getting older, so when they’re not at their main home with Kevin, they’re usually out doing things with friends."
It's unknown what the two teenagers are getting up to in their day-to-day life, as Britney has kept that under wraps.
However it was reported they are also big music fans, leaning more toward EDM and rap, with Sean even "DJing in his spare time."
Britney is yet to share their reactions to her pregnancy news, but there's no doubt the pair will be excited to have another brother or sister.
