Where are the most expensive Mr Whippy locations in the UK?

Euro 2024 has come and gone, the Olympics have just begun and most schools have already broken up for the six-week summer holiday

And now temperatures are starting to rise. BBC Weather said that high pressure and an increasing heatwave in the eastern US is the reason for this, as the pressure is sending ripples through the atmosphere that will direct the jet stream to the north of the UK.

So at last, it will soon be hot enough for an ice cream weather again. But, with the cost of living still at a high, parents may find that they have less change to hand after buying their children ice creams this year, depending on where they live.

A recent user-generated survey by LatestDeals.co.uk has revealed the most expensive and cheapest locations in the UK for buying a classic Mr Whippy ice cream.

The survey asked participants to submit the prices of a standard Mr Whippy from their local ice cream vans, excluding the cost of extras like flakes or toppings.

The results highlight significant regional price disparities, with some areas charging a premium.

Glen Park in Plymouth, Devon was found to be the most expensive, at £6.00. This is closely followed by Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, where customers are paying £5.00 for a simple cone.

The Tower of London and Camber Sands, East Sussex share the third spot, both charging £4.50 for a Mr Whippy. These prices are notably higher than the national average.
