Where are Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield and why aren't they on This Morning?

Those tuning into This Morning on Monday, April 4 might be wondering where Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are. The pair usually present the popular ITV daytime show from Monday through to Thursday but will be away from screens for the next two weeks.

The presenters are taking a break for the Easter holidays with a new line-up announced by ITV. Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will present the show all week from Monday, April 4. They will also cover the extra bank holiday shows on Good Friday (April 15) and Easter Monday (April 18).

Meanwhile, Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay will present the show from Monday, April 11 to Tjursday, April 14. Phillip and Holly will return on Tuesday, April 19.

Speaking about hosting the show, Josie said: "I still cannot believe I’ve even hosted This Morning! I feel very privileged, very honoured, and just can’t believe it’s happening to me. I’m very thankful to all the This Morning team for letting me come back and host.

"As for Vernon, when they said I’d be hosting with Vernon again I screamed with excitement! What a legend."

Vernon added: "I had the most brilliant time hosting This Morning with Josie before Christmas and I’m chuffed to be asked back again. The show is such an institution for many and I'm really looking forward to seeing the team and interacting with the viewers again over Easter."
