Gareth Southgate has some huge decisions to make as he prepares to trim down his England squad for Euro 2024.
The Three Lions boss named 33 players in his initial provisional squad, which will be cut down to 26 for the month-long summer tournament, which starts next week.
Named in the first squad were first-time senior call-ups Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones, while Crystal Palace teenager Adam Wharton was also included and made an accomplished debut off the bench in the 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in England’s penultimate warm-up friendly at St James’ Park on Monday night.

Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson were two notable omissions. Rashford scored only eight goals all season for Manchester United, while Henderson’s move to Ajax failed to save his international career.
James Maddison has already left the squad along with Curtis Jones, while Harry Maguire has confirmed he will play no part due to injury.
England’s Euros hopefuls have one final chance to prove they are worthy of a seat on the plane to Germany as they meet Iceland in a Wembley send-off on Friday evening.
