When will Married At First Sight UK 2022 start? Everything we know about the new series

Married At First Sight delights many reality TV fans and often fills the void left when Love Island has finished. And now E4 has confirmed the series will be returning for 2022.

E4 has revealed some details about the new series including that there will be two same-sex couples in the show and that it will be the longest ever series of the show. Here is everything we know about the romance show so far.

When will Married At First Sight UK air?

There is no confirmed air date for the series yet but E4 announced in January that the new series will be back "in the coming months". In 2021 the show started at the end of August after ITV2's popular reality TV show Love Island had ended. You can read when the 2022 series of Love Island will end here.

Who is in the line up?

There are no Welsh singletons on the TV series this year but it features a Dreamboys star and a former Miss Great Britain. You can read all about the brides and grooms who are taking part here.

Who will be the relationship experts on Married At First Sight 2022?

It is believed that relationship experts Mel Schilling, Paul C. Brunson, and Charlene Douglas will be returning to the show. Mel Schilling has worked on Married at First Sight Australia and is known for a forceful questioning technique making sure that no stone is unturned in the couple's relationships.

Paul Brunson is a familiar face for Married at First Sight UK and is very successful with pairing up people as one of his previous couples has just had a baby. Paul is also known for his work on Celebs Go Dating.

Charlene Douglas has featured in programmes such as The Sex Clinic and works to strengthen and deepen the couple's connection.

New features for Married At First Sight 2022

The 2022 series of Married At First Sight will be longer than ever and there are 30 episodes expected in the new series. There will also be two same-sex couples in the 2022 series of Married At First Sight.

In 2021 the show featured their first same-sex couple, Matt and Dan, who since the show ended have remained together.

Where can I watch Married At First Sight 2022?

Married At First Sight 2022 will air on E4. It is expected that episodes will be available on All4 after they air each night. In 2021 the episodes aired Monday to Thursday.
