West Ham United will be heading to either Denmark or the Faroe Islands later this month to take on either Viborg or B36 Torshavn in the play-off qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.
The Hammers’ seventh-placed finish in the 2021/22 Premier League season saw them qualify for the last round of qualifying for the Europa Conference League and will now face the winners of Viborg vs Torshavn for a place in the group stage of the full competition.
However, supporters of the Irons, David Moyes, and his players will have to wait a week to discover exactly which northern European country the Hammers will be heading to later this month.

The first leg of the third round qualifying tie takes place at the Energi Viborg Arena at 6pm (UK time) on Wednesday evening, before the two sides meet again six days later for the return leg at the Torsvoellur Stadium.
West Ham will then play the winner of that clash over two legs. The pencilled in dates are August 18 and 25, although it is currently unofficial and will be confirmed in due course, with the Hammers playing at home in the first leg.
Before that, the Hammers will start off their league campaign on Sunday against Manchester City at the London Stadium before heading to last season’s Championship play-off winners Nottingham Forest a week later.
