Tottenham now knows who they will face in the Champions League group stage. Only a few years ago, Spurs reached the final of the competition under Mauricio Pochettino but have had to cope without being in the Champions League for the last couple of seasons.
Now Antonio Conte has taken charge, and there has been major improvements, both on and off the pitch. The Italian has welcomed six new players to his squad this summer, with Destiny Udogie being the seventh signing, although he has been loaned back to Udinese.
These arrivals, along with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, who joined in January, now mean Conte has a bigger and stronger squad to cope with the busy fixture schedule. Rotation will be inevitable, as the Champions League fixtures come around thick and fast, and the 53-year-old will need his whole squad to be ready when called upon.

Tottenham now know they will face Frankfurt, Sporting CP and Marseille in the group stage of the competition, meaning six matches to fit into their already busy schedule.
Spurs entered Group D second, after Eintracht Frankfurt. The German side beat Rangers in the Europa League final last season, earning them their place in the Champions League.
Frankfurt are yet to win a Bundesliga game this season after their first three fixtures, but they already know what it's like to win a European competition, so it won't be an easy match. However, Tottenham fans are likely to welcome the German side as their opponents from Pot 1, rather than some of the other sides they could've got put with.
The next team drawn for the group were Sporting CP. The Portuguese side returned to the top European competition last season after a few years without Champions League football. Sporting have won one, drawn one and lost one of their opening three league matches in Primeira Liga and, again, not the most difficult side for Spurs to face, with the others in Pot 2.
The final team to be added to Tottenham's group were Marseille. This would've been a team Spurs would've wanted to avoid from Pot 4, with their home turf always being a difficult place to visit.
Last season, the French side finished runners-up in Ligue 1 and reached the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League. However, Tottenham's group could've arguably been a fair bit more difficult than it is on paper.
Now Spurs know who they will be facing, football.london takes a look at when the fixtures will be played whilst they wait to find out when exactly they will play each side in their group.

In the first few weeks of the Premier League, unlikely teams have already salvaged points, and top teams have already dropped some. Therefore there are likely to be a number of twists and turns this season.
Man City away after the first Champions League fixture, a trip to the Emirates after the second, and Liverpool coming to N17 after the sixth matchday are standouts for the tough schedule Spurs are going to face. However, if Tottenham do want to show the improvements they have made and push on to compete with the best, they need to prove they have the quality to do so in multiple competitions.
