The curtain is yet to come down on the 2022/23 Scottish football season but fixture news has already arrived for the next campaign.
The Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Inverness will be a clash between top-flight Celtic and Championship underdogs Inverness, with Ange Postecoglou's side able to secure back-to-back titles with a win this weekend at Hearts. They have already achieved Viaplay Cup success this season. Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs are all the hunt for European spots while we await to see who will secure Scottish Premiership safety at the bottom of the table.
The excitement for a new season can’t be matched and that’s set to ramp up when the fixtures come out. The Scottish Premiership title race is set to be played out against a backdrop of the Champions League group stage. Celtic are all but certainly there, while Rangers hope to join them. The relegated side, or sides, will be praying for an immediate return to the top flight, and plenty of Championship teams will be eyeing a play-off spot after another closely contested season this time around draws to a close..
