When Leeds United's international stars are in action this month

Leeds United's Premier League season ended in dramatic fashion, as the Whites secured their top-flight status by bettering Burnley's result on the final day of the season. However, for several of the club's players, the season is not yet over.

That's down to important international fixtures taking place in June. Two Leeds stars may even meet one another in a final World Cup qualifying play-off.

Leeds have seven players in action before they go on their holidays and pre-season begins. Here are the players in action and when they will be playing:

Brenden Aaronson

Leeds' latest signing flew in to sign for the Whites before immediately heading off on international duty with the USA. Aaronson - who has become the second most expensive American signing of all time - could feature in four fixtures, as the USMNT have two friendlies and two Nations League fixtures to play.

USA vs Morocco - Thursday June 2, 00:30 (Friendly)

USA vs Uruguay - Sunday June 5, 22:00 (Friendly)

USA vs Grenada - Saturday June 11, 03:00 (CONCACAF Nations League)

El Salvador vs USA - Wednesday June 15, 03:00 (CONCACAF Nations League)

Liam Cooper

The Whites' captain is one of the two players who will be playing to win World Cup qualification after Scotland's play-off semi-final against Ukraine was delayed due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Tartan Army will face Wales in the final, should they win the semi-final.

Scotland vs Ukraine - Wednesday June 1, 19:45 (World Cup Qualifier)

Wales vs Scotland or Ukraine - Sunday June 5, 17:00 (World Cup Qualifier)

Scotland vs Armenia - Wednesday June 8, 19:45 (Nations League)

Ireland vs Scotland - Saturday June 11, 17:00 (Nations League)

Daniel James

Cooper could face Leeds teammate, Daniel James in the final, should the Scots qualify. Wales already defeated Austria in the semi-final, thanks to a Gareth Bale brace. James partnered the matchwinner in a front two and may reprise that role, should Rob Page continue with the same formation.

Poland vs Wales - Wednesday June 1, 17:00 (Nations League)

Wales vs Scotland or Ukraine - Sunday June 5, 17:00 (World Cup Qualifier)

Wales vs Netherlands - Wednesday June 8 , 19:45 (Nations League)

Kalvin Phillips

Phillips returns to the England squad, having missed the previous fixtures due to the hamstring injury he picked up in December. It remains to be seen whether he will regain his starting spot from the Euros or whether Southgate will trial different personnel in England's four Nations League matches. Interestingly, England will face a replay of the Euro 2020 final, where they lost to Italy on penalties.

Hungary vs England - Saturday June 4, 17:00 (Nations League)

Germany vs England - Tuesday June 7, 19:45 (Nations League)

England vs Italy - Saturday June 11, 19:45 (Nations League)

England vs Hungary - Tuesday June 14, 19:45 (Nations League)

Raphinha

Leeds' most speculated about player will be in action for Brazil again, where he has established himself as a starter over the last season. All of Brazil's games are friendlies but Leeds' star winger will want to perform well in order to maintain his place as a starter ahead of this year's World Cup.

Brazil vs South Korea - Thursday June 2, 12:00 (Friendly)

Japan vs Brazil - Monday June 6, 11:20 (Friendly)

Brazil vs Argentina - Saturday June 11, 12:00 (Friendly)

Diego Llorente

The centre back was a late call-up for Spain, after Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte pulled out injured. As such, Llorente may not feature often in Spain's four Nations League matches.

Spain vs Portugal - Thursday June 2, 19:45 (Nations League)

Czech Republic vs Spain - Sunday June 5, 19:45 (Nations League)

Switzerland vs Spain - Thursday June 9, 19:45 (Nations League)

Mateusz Klich

The Polish international has been called up to the squad once again, having missed the previous international break due to covid. Like the rest of the European sides apart from Wales, Scotland and Ukraine, Poland have four Nations League fixtures to play.

Poland vs Wales - Wednesday June 1, 17:00 (Nations League)

Belgium vs Poland - Wednesday June 8, 19:45 (Nations League)

Netherlands vs Poland - Saturday June 11, 19:45 (Nations League)
