With a new year comes the return of yet another blockbuster show landing on Netflix, as You returns to the platform for its fourth season. The hit psychological thriller – based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name – has proved a huge hit for the streaming giant.
Each season follows a brilliant bookstore manager Joe Goldberg as he becomes infatuated with a new woman. The dangerously charming Joe uses the internet and social media to gather the most intimate details of his prey to feed a growing and toxic obsession as he quietly and strategically removes every obstacle – and person – in his way.
Following the events of season three, Joe is now in London and masquerading as a university professor by the name Jonathan Moore. Penn Badgley returns in the lead role alongside newcomers to the series Tati Gabrielle, Charlotte Ritchie, Lukas Gage and Ed Speleers.
