When is the NFL trade deadline?

The 2023 NFL trade deadline has been set for 2:00 p.m. MT on Tuesday, Oct. 31. After that deadline, clubs will not be able to make trades until the 2024 NFL offseason.

After the trade deadline passes, teams can still sign free agents and make waiver wire claims to add new talent during the season.

The Denver Broncos have said that they’re not actively shopping players ahead of the trade deadline, but other teams have called Denver in recent weeks. The Broncos will not trade star cornerback Pat Surtain, but the team is listening to offers for other players.

The most likely trade candidate for Denver seems to be wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who has drawn interest from other teams for more than a year. The Broncos have at least one offer on the table for Jeudy (according to ProFootballTalk.com), and the looming deadline might spark action.

Denver has already traded one player this season (outside linebacker Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers), and fans will now wait to see if any more moves are on the way. We will be tracking any potential trades on Broncos Wire leading up to the deadline.
