Strictly Come Dancing is back, with the live shows kicking off tonight.
With 15 celebrities preparing hard for their time on the dancefloor, it would only be fair to give them a couple of chances before they are put up for elimination.
The stars have had two weeks to prepare for their first performance, but will only have a week to get ready for their second stint in front of the judges.
So when will the stars and their pro dance partners be up for the vote?

When is the first Strictly elimination due for 2019?
While it’s not been confirmed by the BBC, it is most likely the celebs will be safe for week one of the live shows.
The first elimination is therefore expected to take place on Sunday, September 29th.
After that, fans will see celebs booted from the show weekly, based on how well their dances were received by the judges and the public.
Going off on last year’s format, there will most likely be a total of 10 eliminations before a winner is crowned for the 17th series.
The live shows begin tonight, September 21, with the results airing the following day on Sundays - starting next week.

The first Strictly Come Dancing live show airs tonight at 7pm.
The show's duration is 2 hours and 20 mins long, so will be on until 9.20pm.
The 17th series of Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
