The Carabao Cup returned this week with third-round fixtures as the competition nears the latter stages.
Manchester City put in an impressive showing on Wednesday night, seeing off Premier League rivals Chelsea with a 2-0 win to book their spot in tonight's draw. City have dominated this competition in recent years winning it in six of the last nine seasons. As for United, the last of their five trophy wins came in 2017.
