When is the All-Ireland football final? Date, start time, TV coverage and ticket information for the decider

The 2022 All-Ireland Football Championship final will take place on Sunday, 24 July 2022 at Croke Park in Dublin.

It is scheduled for a 3.30pm throw-in at GAA HQ, with coverage of the match being shown on both RTE 1 and Sky Sports Arena. It will also be available to stream on the RTE Player.

This year be the earliest in the year that the final has ever taken place and will follow the All-Ireland hurling final the previous weekend.

Galway made the final after beating Derry in the last four. The Tribesmen will be looking to lift the Sam Maguire Cup for the first time since 2001.

They will be joined in the final by Kerry who saw off in Dublin thanks to a stunning free from Sean O'Shea, which proved to be the last kick of the game.

The Kingdom are the most successful county in the history of the championship with 37 titles.

Tickets for the match are yet to go on sale but as ever Croke Park, with a capacity of 82,300, will be a sellout.
