When is the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship? TV, live stream, odds, tee times for Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa

The DP World Tour, the newly rebranded European Tour, kicks off 2022 with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland are among the stars on show teeing it up, as well as English hopes Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton and Lee Westwood who will all be looking to start the new season in style.

This is McIlroy’s first tournament since competing at Tiger Woods’ Hero Challenge at the start of December, but he’s had plenty of joy here before. In 11 previous appearances at the event, he has four second-place finishes and four other third-places.

Hatton won this event last year, while 2019 Open champion Shane Lowry will be hoping forecasts of high winds in Abu Dhabi prove to be correct.

Morikawa will become the world number one if he wins this week, and Jon Rahm also finishes outside the top seven at The American Express on the PGA Tour.

How to watch Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship?

The tournament begins on Thursday, January 20 and as usual runs through to the final round on Sunday, January 23.

TV channel: Sky Sports Main Event will show full coverage on all four days, starting at 7am GMT. There will also be action from a number of featured groups, which begins a couple of hours earlier.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch the whole tournament through the Sky Go app.
