Known to Christians as Shrove Tuesday, the day traditionally serves as a way for Christians to enjoy a final day of indulgence before the start of the Lent.
But for those who don’t follow the religious side of Pancake Day, it is simply a time to enjoy some sweet treats in the company of friends and family. Pancake Day always falls on a different date each year, and depends on which date Easter falls.
