Manchester City are set to hold an open-top bus parade on Monday to celebrate their historic Treble win.
City have become the first club to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season since Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United completed the feat 24 years ago in 1999, sealing the Treble with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday.
The squad are set to fly back from Istanbul, where the final was staged, later today and the club have confirmed a parade will take place on Monday. The celebration will include former players and live music and will be streamed live on City's website and app.
" Manchester City will celebrate its Treble with an open-top bus parade through Manchester city centre on Monday 12 June," they said in a statement. "Pep Guardiola and the squad will depart from Tonman Street, Deansgate, at approximately 18:30 (UK time) and travel to St Mary's Gate.
"The parade will then travel through Cross Street and King Street, before finishing on the corner of Princess Street and Portland Street. A live stage show will then take place on Oxford Street, with onstage entertainment starting at 17:30 with the players expected to arrive at approximately 19:30.
"The parade will be hosted by Manchester City's City Square presenters Danny Jackson and Natalie Pike, who will be joined by former players and special guests. There will also be live music from bands and DJs.
"New for this year – three DJ booths will be dotted throughout the parade route so our fans and the city can come together to celebrate the Club's success in the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup this season."
Manchester City Council leader Councillor Bev Craig said: "Winning the treble, crowned with an historic first Champion's League triumph, is an incredible achievement. We extend our congratulations on behalf of the city to the club and its fans.
"We're sure the parade will be a joyous and unforgettable occasion as fans gather in the city centre to celebrate with the team a success which will resonate around the world and showcases once again Manchester's huge sporting legacy."
