When is Leigh Wood vs Michael Conlan press conference and watch live stream for free

Leigh Wood puts his WBA featherweight title on the line against Michael Conlan on Saturday night and the two are set to meet in their pre-fight press conference on Thursday afternoon.

The Nottingham champion, Wood, is set to defend his belt against Belfast’s Conlan in what looks to be his toughest test of his career so far.

It will be the first time that Wood defends his WBA title after winning it from China's Xu Can last July in an upset.

Wood will come in as the underdog, but a win would hugely elevate his stature - in a bid to one day fight at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground.

That is something that he has been quick to bring up, always stating that he'd like to headline an event at the home of Forest.

But he'll have to overcome the odds on Saturday night before thinking about any further down the line in his career, in what will be a sell out crowd at the Motorpoint Arena.

The press conference will be held later today with the two set to come face-to-face. Here is all you need to know:

When is the press conference being held?

The media event is taking place at the Albert Hall Conference Centre in Nottingham on Thursday afternoon at 1pm.

There should be plenty of fans in attendance to offer their support to both fighters.
