A change is coming to Fortnite.
Chapter 2 – Season 2 arrives in a couple of week’s time, and promises to bring some big changes to the popular battle royale multiplayer game.
The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 two has now lasted twice as long as people were expecting, as Season 2 has been subject to unplanned delays over the past four months. But finally, the end is in sight.
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Fortnite update…
When will Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 be out?
The next season of Fortnite will start on 20 February 2020.
Players have speculated that the reason for the delays have to do with the new physics engine.
From Chapter 2 – Season 2 onwards, developers Epic Games have decided to switch to Unreal Engine’s Chaos engine, which could drastically affect Fortnite’s gameplay.
Supposedly, the extra time has been necessary to ensure a smooth transition between the two engines.
