Deadpool and Wolverine 's theatrical run has been over for some time now and, while the Marvel movie sliced its way to a hugely impressive $1.3 billion haul at the global box office, everyone's been wondering when it'll make its Disney Plus debut for a number of months.
Well, wonder no more, dear reader, because Deadpool 3 finally has a confirmed launch date on one of the world's best streaming services: November 12. That's right, the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film will be available to stream for free – as long as you have a Disney Plus account, anyway – in less than two weeks. So, make sure you block out some time in mid-November to watch it for the first or umpteenth time.
"Hang on," we hear you say, "Marvel hasn't officially announced Deadpool and Wolverine's Disney Plus release date, so how do you know when it'll arrive?". You'll need to get an answer to that question – if you do, though, you'll be able to learn even more about the superhero movie, including whether it's worth watching and if there are any post-credits scenes. So, what are you waiting for? Let's f*****g go!
What is Deadpool and Wolverine's release date on Disney Plus?

As we stated above, Deadpool and Wolverine will make landfall on Disney Plus on Tuesday, November 12. Ordinarily, new Disney Plus movies are released on the service on Wednesdays or Fridays, so this is an unexpected launch date for the Marvel Phase 5 flick.
Admittedly, Marvel hasn't announced that The Merc With a Mouth and his adamantium-clawed best bud's movie will air on that date. However, on October 29, a leaked Marvel trailer all but confirmed Deadpool and Wolverine would join Disney Plus' film library on that date, which is as good a confirmation as we're going to get.
We previously predicted a mid-November release date for Deadpool 3, too. Indeed, when we initially wrote this article, we suggested that it wouldn't debut on Disney's primary streaming service until Agatha All Along's nine-episode run had ended. With the WandaVision spin-off's story coming to a close on October 30/31 (depending on where you live), there's a big enough gap in the Disney Plus release schedule – from a big franchise perspective, anyway – to release Deadpool and Wolverine on the platform in mid-November. We're glad, then, that we were proven right with our original prediction, which saw us suggest it would debut on November 13 – just one day out from the movie's actual streaming launch date.
Is Deadpool and Wolverine worth watching on Disney Plus?
We certainly think so. Our spoiler-light Deadpool and Wolverine review is full of praise for the superhero flick, which we also consider it to be one of the best Marvel movies to arrive post-Avengers: Endgame. Make sure you catch it on Disney Plus once it's released, then.
Do I need to watch any other MCU or X-Men movies before Deadpool and Wolverine?
You don't need to, but we'd recommend watching the first two Deadpool films – 2016's Deadpool and 2018's Deadpool 2 – to get a flavor for how funny, gory, and utterly chaotic the character's threequel is. You should check out 2017's Logan, one of 20th Century Fox's final X-Men movies (read our guide on how to watch the X-Men movies in order if you need more details), too, if you want additional context about Deadpool and Wolverine's plot.
Luckily, those movies, plus every other X-Men film, are available on Disney Plus globally. If you're not signed up to the service yet, our Disney Plus price article is worth reading to see how much a monthly and/or yearly subscription costs in your region.
What's the runtime for Deadpool and Wolverine?
Deadpool and Wolverine clocks in at two hours and eight minutes – i.e. 128 minutes – including its end credits sequence and post-credits scene (more on this shortly). If you were worried that you'd be in for another Avengers: Endgame-like runtime that requires multiple bathroom breaks, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
Is there a post-credits scene in Deadpool and Wolverine? And how does it impact the MCU?
Yes, there is a post-credits scene. Explaining that in detail and/or revealing how the film affects the MCU moving forward here, though, would ruin one of many surprises that Deadpool 3 has to offer.
