Chelsea will today discover their fate in the Europa Conference League play-off round.
The Blues finished sixth in the Premier League last season but were denied a Europa League berth by eighth-placed Manchester United beating champions Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
It remains to be seen quite how seriously new head coach Enzo Maresca takes the competition but it does at least offer the club a favourable chance of a first trophy under the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital regime.
Chelsea are in the Main Path of the play-off round, which means they are seeded and will begin their campaign against an unseeded team.
UEFA are yet to release their full seedings but will ahead of the draw this afternoon.
