Over the last week, John Torode and Gregg Wallace have been back on our TV screens putting a brand new bunch of celebrities through their culinary paces. Twenty famous faces, such as stage and screens performers, musicians and singers, sporting stars and TV personalities, are all hoping they've got what it takes to be crowned Celebrity MasterChef 2022 winner - but only one can be crowned the winner.
The competition is taking place over six weeks as the judges whittle down the contestants and the top two cooks from each heat go through to the semi-final. Last week, the first round of heats got underway and McFly's Danny Jones, Love Island star Faye Winter, entertainer Paul Chuckle, comedian Kae Kurd and media personality Nancy Dell'Olio were all put under the pressure.
In the end, it was singer Danny and reality TV star Faye who grabbed the two places in the semi-final after Paul Chuckle was eliminated. This week, five new stars are heading into the kitchen to compete for two more spots in the Celebrity MasterChef semi-final.
But when is the second round of heats being broadcast and which celebrities will be taking part this week. Here are the details you need to ensure you don't miss an episode:
When is Celebrity MasterChef 2022 on this week?
Celebrity MasterChef continues this week with the second round of heats airing on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (August 16, 18 and 19) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The first two episodes will air for 60 minutes from 8pm and Friday's instalment will be just 30 minutes long from 9pm.
On Tuesday (August 16) the five new celebrities will take to the kitchen and will open the episode with a 'Under The Cloche' challenge before taking part in a street food challenge. They'll have to taste and guess the ingredients and then cook the dish themselves and their final task will be to prepare a 'Dinner Party Dish'.
The heats then continue on Thursday (August 18) where the four remaining contestants will first be challenged with making fettucine with basil and parsley pesto, in just 15 minutes. In the second round, they'll be tasked with a recipe set by professional chef Freddy Forster before finally cooking one dish "full of nostalgia".
On Friday (August 19) there will be just three contestants left and they will be asked to produce a two course not only for John and Gregg but for guest judges 2019 Celebrity MasterChef finalists Vicky Pattinson and Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, and 2018 champion John Partridge.
