Here's when 'Anora' coming to streaming — Hulu release date revealed

(L-R) Mark Eydelshteyn as Vanya and Mikey Madison as Anora "Ani" Mikheeva in "Anora".

"When is 'Anora' coming to streaming?" has been a question on many a cinephile's mind. The comedy drama from writer/director Sean Baker has been a massive hit for Neon. It started its run by taking home the Palme d'Or at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and after a killer awards season, it's now on track to win the Best Picture Oscar at the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.

So it's no surprise people want to stream it. The good news is we don't have to wait much longer, as this critical darling starring Mikey Madison finally has a Hulu release date. Here's when "Anora" is coming to streaming services.

When is 'Anora' coming to streaming?

Right now, you can buy or rent "Anora" from premium video-on-demand (PVOD) streaming services like Amazon and Apple.

But if you wait a little longer, you can stream it on one of the best streaming services out there as part of your subscription. You can stream "Anora" on Hulu starting March 17. By that point, you might be streaming the best movie from 2024, and one of my favorite movies of the year.

What is 'Anora' about?

"Anora" stars Mikey Madison as the titular Anora "Ani" Mikheeva. She's a stripper at a nightclub in the predominantly Russian-American neighborhood of Brighton Beach. One night at the club, she meets Ivan "Vanya" Zakharov (Mark Eydelshteyn), the son of a Russian oligarch and they begin a whirlwind romance that ultimately takes them to a Las Vegas wedding chapel and a ring on Ani's finger.

From there, everything goes off the rails. Vanya's mother Galina (Darya Ekamasova) is completely against the marriage and sends Vanya's Armenian godfather, Toros (Karren Karagulian) to hunt them down and get the marriage annulled. Don't miss this incredible comedy drama that's equally hilarious and heartbreaking.
