Erik ten Hag looks set to win the Eredivisie title this week ahead of joining Manchester United.
United officially confirmed Ten Hag as their newest manager last month on a three-year deal with the option of another year. Ten Hag will join United with the club in turmoil after a miserable season, in which it equalled its longest trophy drought for 40 years.
Ten Hag will be challenged with bringing the good feeling from the Amsterdam Arena to Old Trafford. Ajax are currently four points clear at the top of the Eredivisie with two games to play, despite drawing 1-1 against AZ Alkmaar on Sunday afternoon.

PSV, who are second in the league, couldn't take advantage of Ajax dropping points — they surrendered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Feyenoord — and that means Ten Hag's side now look set to be crowned Eredivisie champions this week for the third time in his five years in charge at the club.
Ajax play Heerenveen on Wednesday night and three points in that match would see them officially win the Eredivisie title. However, if Ajax draw that game and PSV beat NEC at home, the title will be decided on Sunday, which is the final of the season.
Ajax suffered defeat in the Dutch Cup final against PSV last month and Ten Hag will be keen to end his reign with a trophy.
