There will be no such disruption to the 2023/24 campaign, much to the delight of managers up and down the country, and will see the league return to its usual schedule having also dealt with COVID-induced changes to the calendar.

When does the 2023/24 Premier League season start?
The 2023/24 season will begin on Saturday 12 August 2023 and end on Sunday 19 May 2024.
Marking a return to usual dates after three seasons of disruption caused by COVID-19 and World Cup in Qatar, the Premier League is back to its pre-pandemic format.
A mid-season break will take place between January 13-20, enabling players to rest and recover over the gruelling winter period.
There will also be four international breaks that will disrupt the campaign, which are listed below.

- November 13-21, 2023
- March 18-26, 2024
When will the 2023/24 Premier League fixtures be released?
The Premier League have confirmed that the fixture schedule for the 2023/24 season will be revealed on Thursday 15 June at 9am BST.
This follows the same pattern of recent years, which has seen the 20 teams in the division discover their fate during the second weeks of June.
