When the trailer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 7 dropped ahead of the actual season premiere on February 8, the most jaw-dropping takeaway was knowing Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was returning to vacation with the bunch, including Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola.
That’s a huge deal considering the two are exes, with an arguably "toxic" dynamic, and have not actually been spotted on screen together in a scene in ages.

Now if you've been following along with the new season and looked beyond the continued tension between Sammi and Angela, then you know that it's been teased for a while now that Ronnie is making his triumphant return to the show, and it's yet to have happened. When do Ronnie and Sammi meet in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation?
The wait is finally over as Ronnie and Sammi meet again in the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episode appropriately titled "Sam and Ron," airing on Thursday, April 11, at 8 pm ET/PT on MTV. Here is a synopsis of the episode:
"Tensions build between Angelina and Sammi. Ronnie’s long-awaited arrival sparks emotions from his roommates when he joins them in Nashville. Sammi and Ron reunite for the first time in almost a decade."
If you're someone who still doubts that the highly-anticipated event is happening in the new episode, MTV released a clip where you can hear Ronnie greeting Sammi walking into their Nashville vacation home. Take a look at the video below.
While we can't predict when in the episode the exes will exchange salutations, we only hope their interaction consists of more than just a hi and hello.
