When does Love Island 2022 end?

While Love Island has only just started, you can read who the Islanders are here, some fans are wondering how many weeks of the show they left have to enjoy. The show will finish with a grand finale when one couple will be crowned winners and will have to decide if one person gets to keep the £50,000 prize or if they share.

The host of the show Laura Whitmore announced on the first episode of the show, where viewers were not happy that the public paired the Islanders up, that the show would run for eight weeks. As the show started on Monday, May, 6 and as the final typically airs on a Monday this would suggest that series will end on Monday, August, 1.

Last year's series also ran for eight weeks and saw Welsh contestant Liam Reardon and his girlfriend Millie Court win the show, share the money and they have remained together. This year there are two Welsh contestants, Paige Thorne a paramedic from Swansea, and another Liam, Liam Llewellyn a student from Newport.

Liam is currently at risk of being dumped from the island as "Italian stallion" Davide Sanclimenti has swooped into the villa and paired up with Gemma Owen, who Liam was formerly in a couple with. Thankfully, there are two new bombshells set to enter the villa, Afia and Ekin-Su, meaning Liam will have the chance to impress.

There have also been complaints to Ofcom and on social media about the Gemma, as she is 19 years old and many think she is too young to be in the villa. Fans have also compared Paige to another Welsh star Lisa Scott-Lee from the iconic band Steps. Many took to Twitter to point out the similarities in their looks.
