When does BBC Casualty return for a new series?

Fans of BBC's Casualty don't have too much longer to wait until the medical drama returns to screens. The series, which is filmed at Roath Lock Studios, Cardiff Bay, has been off the air since early October and now, some of the show's cast members have given viewers an insight into when it will return.

Actors Elinor Lawless and William Beck, who play Stevie Nash and Dylan Keogh respectively, have been talking about their upcoming storylines. In the show, the pair's relationship has been sketchy to say the least. Lawless said of scenes in the new series: "For Stevie, the sparring with Dylan definitely continues and she gets in hot water with the acquaintance of a patient that potentially leaves her in danger. That was was quite exciting to film.”

Meanwhile, Beck, who has played his character since 2011, added: "There's a power struggle ahead for Dylan. We literally don't know which way it's going to go. Ultimately an important decision has to be made between Dylan and somebody else, with regards to his position at the hospital. He gets pretty torrid."
