When do Glastonbury tickets go on sale?

For more than 50 years, thousands of people have descended on Somerset’s Worthy Farm to attend one of the world’s most famous music festivals, Glastonbury. The festival made a triumphant return this year after being postponed due to Covid, with headline sets from Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar.

Despite being more than eight months away, rumours are already circulating around who will perform at the iconic Worthy Farm festival in 2023, with Arctic Monkeys and Elton John currently among the bookies’ favourites. The ticket price for next year’s festival was announced on Monday, with fans divided about a more than 15 percent rise from 2021’s prices.

On Tuesday, festival organiser Emily Eavis was forced to defend the increase, which she blamed on “enormous rises” in running costs. Despite the price increase, countless music lovers will no doubt still want to attend the famous festival.

When do Glastonbury tickets go on sale?

Tickets are notoriously hard to acquire and usually sell out in minutes. To be in with a chance of nabbing a set, you and your festival buddies must each be registered on the official Glastonbury website before the deadline of 5pm on Monday, October 31.

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2023 go on sale in early November. General admission full weekend tickets are released on Sunday, November 6 at 9am.

Tickets plus coach travel to the festival go on sale on Thursday, November 3 at 6pm. Up to six tickets can be booked per transaction, with a deposit of £50 per person to be paid when booking.

The remaining balance must be paid in the first week of April, from Saturday April 1 at 9am, to Friday April 7 at 11.59pm. At this time, car park passes (£55) and campervan passes (£150-250) can be added to your booking.

To avoid scams and ticket touts, Glastonbury’s official website advises to only book tickets through See Tickets, the only site authorised to sell tickets to the festival.
