Leeds United have announced their first signing of the January transfer window after completing a deal for Red Bull Salzburg centre-back Max Wober.
The Austrian international arrives at Elland Road after penning a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Whites which runs until the summer of 2027.
Wober has spent time in Austria, the Netherlands, and Spain before returning to his home country where he's made 125 appearances over the past three seasons, scoring nine goals and finding nine assists.

It's the second time Marsch has signed the 24-year-old, having first bought him as Salzburg manager back in 2019 when he arrived as the Austrian Bundesliga most-expensive ever signing.
But the question many fans will want answered remains as to when he'll be available to make his debut for the Whites. Unfortunately for many, he won't be able to play in Leeds' fixture against West Ham United tomorrow night as his signing comes too close to the kick-off time.
However, he is able to feature against Cardiff City in the FA Cup third round match which takes place on Sunday, January 8 which would be a great way of introducing him to English football without the pressure of his debut coming in the Premier League.
If he doesn't feature in the match at the Cardiff City Stadium though, the next match for the Whites would be against Aston Villa away at Villa Park on January 13, an important clash with Villa just two places above Leeds in the league.
