Georginio Rutter could make his Leeds United debut when they host Brentford at Elland Road next weekend, after signing from Hoffenheim for an initial fee of £25 million.
The Frenchman has penned a five-and-a-half-year deal, which could increase to £35 million in add-ons. Rutter becomes the second signing to arrive at Leeds in January, after Max Wober joined from Red Bull Salzburg earlier this month.
Rutter is ineligible to face Cardiff City in Leeds' FA Cup third-round replay on Wednesday, as he did not feature in the original tie in the Welsh capital. He will, however, be present at Elland Road as he will be presented to the crowd prior to kick-off.
