Barry Ferguson was straight to work yesterday as he was appointed as the new head coach of Rangers on an interim basis.
The club legend took over the role after Philippe Clement was relieved of his duties late on Sunday night.
Ferguson, 47, met with the club's CEO Patrick Stewart to secure his emotional return to Ibrox, having enjoyed two trophy-laden spells as a player with his boyhood team.
He has drafted in Neil McCann, Allan McGregor and Billy Dodds to join him on his coaching staff, while Clement's old No.2 Issame Charai remains apart of the backroom team as well.
Ferguson admitted in an interview with club TV that he never felt like the call to manage Rangers was going to come.
Today, his dream becomes a reality as he takes training to prepare ahead of a tough trip to Rugby Park to face Kilmarnock on Wednesday night.

As is customary before each fixture, the new Rangers head coach must speak to the media in preparation for the Scottish Premiership fixture.
He will do so at 2pm this afternoon on Tuesday, February 25.
The assembled media will gain access to the training ground to ask questions of Ferguson following his appointment.
