When are Ireland playing in the World Rugby U20 Championship Final?

Ireland have booked their place in the World Rugby U20 Championship Final and will face France in the decider.

Richie Murphy's side defeated hosts South Africa in Cape Town on Sunday afternoon to advance to the final of the tournament after an emotional week for the Ireland squad.

Murphy spoke ahead of the game of how he was "extremely proud" of how his players have dealt with the tragedies that have impacted them in recent days in Greece and in Cape Town.

Both were close to home, with six of the squad attending the same school as Andrew O'Donnell and Max Wall, the 18-year-olds who died on the Greek island of Ios, while reserve scrum-half Jack Oliver's father Scott, a Munster coach, died in a paragliding accident on the eve of the final pool game against Fiji.

The final will take place at the Athlone Sports Stadium, where Ireland defeated South Africa on Sunday, on Friday evening, with the match scheduled to start at 6pm Irish time.
