The French Open is gearing up towards the semi-finals once again in the 2022 tournament.
Fans have packed the Stade Roland-Garros venue in Paris, continuing the tradition first set in 1928.
With the semi-finals beginning in the just a few short days, it means the competition is coming to a close once more.
The finals will crown this year’s winners, with a few familiar faces once again vying for the top spot.
World No.1 Novak Djokovic is back again to defend his title with Rafael Nadal hoping to take it home to add to his record 13-title collection.
As for the women, Iga Swiatek is battling for her sixth title but Ons Jabeur and Paula Babosa are aiming to take the win for themselves.
When do the finals begin?
Qualifying for the French Open took place between Monday 16 and Friday 20 May
The 2022 tournament’s main draw was on May 22, with the semi-finals starting on Thursday May 2 until Friday 3.
On Saturday June 4, the women’s final will take place, with the men’s wrapping up the show the following day on Sunday June 5.

What times are the finals?
The specific times for the French Open finals have not been revealed yet, though they will likely follow the same schedule as the rest of the competition.
For UK viewers at home, the day sessions begin at 10am, with night sessions kicking off at 8pm.
The tournament can be watched wither via a live stream or on catch-up through two streaming options.
How to watch the French Open finals
If you are watching the finals on TV, the only two channels that are airing them are Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2.
Eurosport 1 can be found on channel number 410 for Sky, 435 for BT and 521 for Virgin.
Eurosport 2’s channel numbers are 411 for Sky, 436 for BT and 522 for Virgin.
If you are live streaming the competition, this is available to watch through the platform Discovery+ for £6.99 a month or £59.99 annually.
The service is available via Sky, Roku, Vodafone and Amazon Prime Video channels.
It is also available to certain devices such as LG Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TVs and Amazon Fire TV.
As these are the only places to see the tournament, it means the French Open is no longer free to watch on UK television since Warner Bros. Discovery became the country’s exclusive broadcaster for it.
