Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier

Two of Newcastle’s most influential players this season have earned a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England side. Wilson’s end of season form made it a no brainer to be in the squad, while Trippier is a favourite of the England manager.

England play Malta away and then North Macedonia at Old Trafford in EURO 2024 qualifiers on the June 16 and 19 respectively, with both kick-offs at 7:45pm BST.

Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton

Newcastle fans will not want to miss the possible debut of Joelinton for Brazil, after his long awaited and deserved call-up. He may play alongside his Newcastle midfield maestro teammate, a sight that barely would have been believable 18 or so months ago.

Brazil play Guinea and Senegal in friendlies on June 17 and June 20, with the venue and time to be determined for the first game, and the second to be played in Brazil at 8:30pm BST.

Alexander Isak

The in-form Swedish striker has been called up for his national team’s home game against New Zealand in a friendly on June 16 at 6pm BST. Before Isak could then feature in a EURO 2024 qualifier against Austria in Vienna three days later. The game kicks off at 7:45pm BST.

Sven Botman

Sven Botman could make his senior international debut for The Netherlands in a UEFA Nations League semi-final. He had to withdraw from the last squad due to illness, preventing him from getting his first cap.

Magpies fans will be hoping he makes his long-awaited appearance this time. His international side take on Croatia in Rotterdam on June 14 at 7:45pm BST.

The imperious Swiss defender has received yet another call-up to the Switzerland national side, for their EURO 2024 qualifiers.

The Swiss will be in action against Andorra away on June 16 and then back at home in Luzern for their game against Romania, both games kick-off at 7:45pm BST.

Martin Dubravka and Anthony Gordon

Both Dubravka and Gordon face a wait to see if they make into their national side's setup.

Slovakia will name their squad for EURO2024 qualifying game against Iceland and Liechtenstein in the coming weeks and the goalkeeper is among a provisional squad.

Fresh off his first Newcastle goal, winger Gordon faces a wait to see if he makes into the England under 21s side for their U21 EURO tournament in the next few weeks, Gordon is part of a provisional squad named by manager Lee Carsley.
