Pittsburgh Penguins legend Sidney Crosby is about to add another amazing achievement to his Hall of Fame resume.
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, he scored his 599th career goal in his 20-year career meaning the 600th goal is imminent.
When and how will it happen?
Pittsburgh Penguins Schedule Gives Sidney Crosby Two Upcoming Chances At Home
Sidney Crosby has two chances to realize this achievement at home in Pittsburgh this week. On November 19, 2024, the Penguins host the Tampa Bay Lightning and on November 22, they host the Winnipeg Jets.
The Penguins would like Crosby to get this honor at home so the fans can celebrate with him and the team as they have done several times over the years.
He scored his first career goal on October 8, 2005, at home against the Boston Bruins.

With 1:28 left in the second period, Mark Recchi’s pass trickled across the crease and #87 was there to slam it home.

How Will Crosby Do It?
If his 599th goal is any indication, it could be a long-range goal.

Long-range goals are not his bread-and-butter so a better guess would be something close with an assist from Evgeni Malkin.
600 Goals Is Elite
Only 20 players in NHL history have scored 600 goals.
