Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan share a cordial relationship today. However, there was a time when they reportedly took digs at each other during interviews.
Shah Rukh had once reportedly stated that his kids would never be Aamir Khan’s fans. Reacting to the same, the ‘3 Idiots’ actor told Mumbai Mirror in a throwback interview, “Let me say one thing clearly, no matter what Shah Rukh tells his children, I will tell my kids to always love and respect him. What he teaches his children is entirely up to him. I can understand that he is bitter as his films have not done well.”
Elaborating further, he added, “I do understand that Shah Rukh works very hard and gives a number of interviews, which I think is a wonderful quality. I think he is upset as his films have not done as well as he expected them to but I wish him all the success he deserves.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. The movie is an official adaptation of the Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’ that originally starred Tom Hanks.
Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He also has Atlee’s commercial entertainer and Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama in his pipeline.
