What Yves Bissouma and Richarlison did before Tottenham pre-season with Antonio Conte

Yves Bissouma and Richarlison became Tottenham's third and fourth signings of the summer transfer window, as Antonio Conte continues to strengthen his squad. Both players bring their individual qualities to a Spurs side, but also a wealth of Premier League experience.

The Italian will be hoping all of his new arrivals can settle in as well and as quickly as Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur did. With the new duo both moving from Premier League clubs, this hopefully won't be an issue Conte has to worry about.

Bissouma is an addition to the 52-year-old's already strong midfield. Harry Winks looks likely to head out the door this summer, leaving Conte with Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Bentancur and Oliver Skipp as well as Bissouma.

Skipp's injury kept him out for the majority of the second half of last season and he will be hoping to bounce back from it. This left Hojbjerg and the January arrival to create a solid midfield partnership for most of the rest of the 2021/22 season and they did a good job.

Bissouma makes the move from Brighton, where he made 26 Premier League appearances during the last campaign. Not only will the Mali international be a good addition to Conte's squad, he will provide the Spurs boss with more depth in midfield, allowing him to make the rotations that will be necessary with the busy fixture schedule coming up.

Many of the Tottenham squad returned to Hotspur Way on Monday, to begin pre-season training. Bissouma was one of the players spotted in the training pictures and videos posted, but on Tuesday, he returned to Brighton to say his final goodbyes.

The 25-year-old took to Instagram to show him at the Regency Restaurant in Brighton, to say his final farewell to the staff there, as he gave them a Seagulls shirt with his name on the back.

The restaurant and staff clearly meant a lot to him, as he added a heartfelt caption to the video he posted. "Before my mum came to make me eat it was here in this restaurant that I ate everyday and this guy help a lot for meals I came to say thank you for everything by offering her a shirt of me," he said.

Richarlison also said his farewells, as he returned to England and prepares for his arrival in N17. However the Brazilian stopped off in Liverpool to say his final goodbyes.

The attacker is going to be a strong addition to Conte's side, with his versatility to play across the front three. Steven Bergwijn's move to Ajax seems close to completion, leaving the Italian with four other attacking options - Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Kulusevski and Lucas Moura.

Richarlison will have a battle to replace the attacking trio that did so well in the second half of last season and Lucas will want to try and push his way to the top as well.

The Brazilian was at Everton for four years, building a strong relationship with his teammates, fans and last season, with Frank Lampard. Richarlison was pictured at Finch Farm saying his goodbyes to members of staff and his now former boss and teammates.

This highlights just how much the 25-year-old was valued at the club and how important his team was to him. Now both players will look to their new chapter, in north London, where Conte will hope they can settle in quickly and make an immediate impact in their new team.
