The Chicago Bulls have failed to live up to expectations for the past two seasons. After going all in on a trio of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic, the Bulls have spent two years floating around the middle of the conference. A hot start in 2021 had most fans excited, but they flamed out and have won just one playoff game with their current group.
Despite their lack of success, the Bulls’ defense has actually been solid. This past year, they had the fifth-best defensive rating in the NBA (111.5). With guys like Alex Caruso and Patrick Williams on board, they were able to make their mark on that end of the court.
This summer, they added Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig, which should improve their defense even more. In a recent mailbag on YouTube, Chicago Bulls Central discussed how good the Bulls defense could be next year.
How good do you think the Bulls will be on the defensive end this year?
