Trent Alexander-Arnold has once again been left on the bench for England's final World Cup group stage game against Wales.
The Three Lions currently sit top of Group B with four points from two games, following Friday's disappointing 0-0 draw with the USA. They round off their opening group campaign tonight knowing that a win will guarantee top-spot and a round-of-16 tie against Senegal on Sunday.
Gareth Southgate opted to start Kieran Trippier at right-back in both if England's previous games, and while the Three Lions boss has opted to bench the Newcastle United man this evening, he has again looked past Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold. Manchester City's Kyle Walker will start at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium despite not playing since undergoing surgery on a groin issue picked up at the start of October.
