What TV channel and time is Kilmacud Crokes v The Downs on today in the Leinster football final?

Kilmacud Crokes' footballers step onto the pitch at Croke Park on Sunday evening with the same goal as the club's hurlers: a Leinster final win.

Crokes' hurlers are in action in the hurling final against Ballyhale Shamrocks in the game preceding this one, and by the time the football gets underway they will either be chasing an elusive double or fighting to secure one Leinster crown for the club.

They face The Downs, the Westmeath side who last contested a Leinster final way back in 1972 against St Vincent's, who proved too strong on that day.

Downs full-forward Niall Mitchell declared that the Westmeath club will not alter their expansive brand of football as they play the fancied Dublin outfit in Croke Park.

He said: ""Because of the brand of football we play, every game you go to watch The Downs it's an exciting game. Which is great for our supporters, we keep them on the edge of their seats every day they go out.

"We play that brand of football where it's up and down the whole time. Yeah, we're looking forward to Sunday and hopefully putting in a performance and a big show for our supporters."
