What to know from Packers’ first injury report of Week 13 vs. Dolphins

The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 13 on Monday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Wednesday with official playing status designations before Thursday’s Thanksgiving Night showdown with the Miami Dolphins.

Here’s everything to know from the Packers’ first injury report of Week 13:

Who didn’t participate?

First things first — the Packers did not practice Monday, and all participation reports are estimates. But the team estimated that cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring), receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion), tight end John FitzPatrick (back) and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (ankle) wouldn’t have practiced. Veterans Kenny Clark, Josh Jacobs and Elgton Jenkins were all listed as getting “rest” on Monday.

Any new injuries to know?

Yes. McDuffie, an 11-game starter at linebacker, has a new ankle injury, stressing the depth at linebacker with Edgerrin Cooper still out. Receiver Romeo Doubs suffered a concussion against the San Francisco 49ers and would need to pass through the league’s protocol to return to the field. Tight end John FitzPatrick has a new back injury. Center Josh Myers is listed with a new pectoral injury, although he was estimated to have been able to practice Monday.

Who are the injured players to watch this week?

Alexander and Cooper missed last week’s win over the 49ers — Alexander due to an aggravation of a pre-existing knee injury, and Cooper due to a hamstring injury suffered last Wednesday during practice — so both could be hard-pressed to play Thursday night. The same goes for Doubs, who must be considered a long shot to get through the concussion protocol in time. McDuffie’s injury is a bit of an unknown. It’s possible the Packers will be without all four on Thursday night.

Who is no longer on the injury report?

The Packers removed safety Evan Williams and defensive lineman Colby Wooden from the injury report. They both played through previous injuries on Sunday and are fully “healed” entering Week 13.

What’s to know from Dolphins injury report?

The Dolphins injury report is 15 players long, and only two are listed as “rest” on Monday. Like the Packers, the Dolphins didn’t practice on Monday and practice participation reports are just estimates. Still, the Dolphins estimated that left tackle Terron Armstead (knee), cornerback Kendall Fuller (concussion) and linebackers Tyus Bowser (knee/calf) and Anthony Walker Jr. (hamstring) wouldn’t have practiced. Receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist), fullback Alex Ingold (calf) and cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knees) were among those limited.
