The Arizona Cardinals will don new threads in the 2023 season. They revealed their new uniforms Thursday night at The Van Buren in downtown Phoenix in an event for season ticket holders, and they also streamed the event online.
They have three new uniforms — road whites, home reds and alternate blacks. The main helmet remains white and they will continue to use the alternate black helmet they debuted last season.

Road white uniform
It will be all white from head to toe, a throwback to the St. Louis days.
The player names are red and the numbers are red with a black outline.
Like older Cardinals uniforms, the only addition are two red stripes on the sleeves with a gray strip between them. The team name “Cardinals” is printed in black.
A full-color team logo is above the player name.
Inside the back neckline of the jersey is embroidered “Bird Gang” in reference to the nickname Cardinals fans have for themselves.
Home red uniform
They are all red. There are no stripes. The numbers are white and bordered in silver. The player name is in white.
“Arizona” is written across the front over the player number.
An all-white version of the team bird logo is over the player name.
Inside the back neckline has the message “Protect the Nest.”
Alternate black uniform
The alternate black uniform blends concepts from the away whites and the Color Rush black jerseys the wore the last few seasons.
The sleeves have the same red and silver stripes with the team’s name written.
The player name is in red.
Like the Color Rush jersey, the player numbers are in red but unlike that one, these have silver outlining.
Above the player name on the back is an all-red team bird logo.
Inside the neckline is “Bird Gang” like the road whites.
New helmet
The team logo has been enlarged and has a sheen metallic look. The facemasks are now silver. There are silver flecks all over the helmet.
At the bottom of the back of the helmet, the team name is now a 3D rubber embossing instead of a decal.
Black helmet
The alternate black helmet the team debuted last year will continue to be used with the new alternate black uniforms.
