What to Expect From Fox Corporation's Q2 2025 Earnings Report

Fox Corporation (FOXA), headquartered in New York, is a leading media and entertainment company recognized for its premier portfolio of news, sports, and entertainment brands. With a market cap of $22 billion, Fox delivers engaging content across television, digital, and streaming platforms, reaching millions of viewers worldwide. The company is set to release its Q2 earnings on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Ahead of the event, analysts expect FOXA to report a profit of $0.64 per share on a diluted basis, up 88.2% from $0.34 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company has consistently surpassed Wall Street’s EPS estimates over the past four quarters. 

The company reported an adjusted EPS of $1.45 in the most recent quarter, surpassing the consensus estimates by 29.5%, fuelled by higher advertising revenues, affiliate fees, and strong demand for live news and sports content.

Fox Corporation shares have gained 54.8% over the past 52 weeks, outperforming the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX22% gains and the Communication Services Select Sector SPDR ETF Fund's (XLC29.9% increase during the same period.

On Dec. 17, Fox Corporation gained over 4% after Guggenheim Securities raised its price target from $50 to $55. 

Additionally, the company’s shares rose 2.7% following the release of its stronger-than-expected fiscal Q1 2025 earnings on Nov. 4. Revenue came in at $3.56 billion, up 11% year-over-year, surpassing the consensus estimate of $3.37 billion. Quarterly adjusted EBITDA reached $1.05 billion, a 21% increase from the prior year, driven by higher revenue, partially offset by increased expenses.

Analysts' consensus rating on Fox Corporation’s stock is cautiously optimistic, with a “Moderate Buy" overall rating. Out of 20 analysts covering the stock, opinions include nine "Strong Buys" and 11 "Holds." 

The average analyst price target for FOXA is $47.65, which indicates that the stock trades at a premium.
