What to do if you've not received £150 DWP Disability Cost of Living Payment yet

Millions of households all across the country have begun receiving their £150 payment from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

The government department is issuing the Disability Cost of Living payment to all eligible claimants who receive cash from eligible disability benefits. The one-off payment had begun being paid out on Tuesday, June 20.

However, not all households will have received their cash yet. Fortunately, if you haven't received your money yet that doesn't essentially mean you won't get it at all.

This is because the DWP is issuing the payments across a two-week period, with the majority of payments being handed out by Tuesday, July 4.

According to the government, the majority of people will have received their payment by now. As of today, data shows that 6.4 million disability payments have been made. It is understood around 6.5 million people are eligible for the payment.

What you should do if you haven't received your payment

Currently, there is no reason to contact the DWP if you haven't received your Disability Cost of Living payment as there is still time for it to be paid out. Instead, you should keep an eye on your bank account for the £150 payment which will appear on your bank statement as "DWO COL" alongside your National Insurance Number.

However, if the July 4 deadline passes and you still have not received your payment then you should contact the DWP. The government confirmed that anyone expecting a payment who hasn't received it within the two-week window can report a missing payment from July 5.
