People who haven't received the government's £150 cost of living payment can now report the missing money. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued advice to anyone who hasn't received the payment, which is being given to those on certain disability benefits.
The government started sending out its £150 cost of living payment to those on benefits such as personal independence payments (PIP) and attendance allowance last month, and it said this week that most payments have now been made as of July 4. It has now opened up a window for people to apply for missing payments if they feel they should have had one but haven't.

What qualifies me for the £150 cost of living payment?
Here is the list of benefits that qualify you for the payment:
- Disability Living Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment
- Attendance Allowance
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
You must have received a payment of one of these benefits for April 1 in order to qualify. If this isn't the case you will not be able to get the money by reporting a missing payment.
How do I report a missing payment?
From July 5 claimants can report a missing disability cost of living payment instead of directly contacting them as they won't be able to take action otherwise. In order to report a missing payment, you must first fill in a form online.
Before filling in the form you will need to have your National Insurance number to hand. You should also double check whether the payment has landed in your bank, building society, or credit union account - the cost of living payment will have been made separately from your usual benefit payment.
It is also important that you do not report the same missing payment more than once. The DWP said it will reply to reports as soon as it is able. Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride MP, said: “This payment helps protect those who need our support the most, providing a vital financial boost to six million disabled people.
"Our multi-billion-pound package of support reinforces our commitment to help UK households with the rising cost of living. It comes on top of record increases to benefits and the national living wage.”
