The Tennessee Titans are winners in a regular-season game for the first time since Week 11 of last season after a thrilling 27-24 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Early on, it looked like the Titans were headed for their ninth-straight loss dating back to last season, but the offense came alive in the final four quarters and the defense did just enough to help secure the win.
Buy Titans TicketsThe biggest story of the game was the bounce-back effort from quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who rightly took a ton of heat heat after throwing the game away in Week 1.
“I felt great coming into today,” Tannehill said. “I was able to flush what happened last week by Wednesday after I talked to you guys and have a great week of practice, got prepared and was ready to roll coming out here today.”
