The Great British Bake Off was back on our screens last week with a brand new series and 12 home bakers hoping they could make a great first impression on judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. Presenter Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas also returned to front the reality series.
In the first episode last Tuesday, the competition kicked off with 'Cake Week' as the new contestants were tasked with making mini cakes, a red velvet cake and a scaled-down version of a home made from sponge. Unfortunately, 45-year-old former charity director Will became the first contestant to leave the competition, whilst Janusz topped the class and was awarded the Star Baker title for the first time this series.
The baking continues this week as the remaining contestants are given three brand new challenges. Here are all the details on when the next episode will air and what they'll be tasked with creating:

The new episode of the GBBO airs on Channel 4 on Tuesday, September 20 from 8pm. You'll also be able to stream the episode on All 4.
This week the 11 remaining contestants will be taking on 'Biscuit Week' as they whip up some 'illusion macarons' in the 'Signature' challenge before producing a 'fruity favourite' in the 'Technical'. Finally in the 'Showstopper', they'll need to make a 3D mask from biscuits.
Once again only one contestant can be crowned Star Baker this week, there will also be another elimination as another baker must leave the tent.
